very few people really get the web medium the way Chia does! she beautifully combines what's possible with today's web technology on a purely technical level — interactions, movements, sounds, playing with the visitor's context (location, time, etc.), you name it — with the very fundamentals of art, as in: having something to say, making a statement, expressing an emotion, helping other humans to find each other and recognize each other amidst this... confusing online mess

the internet grew to be an angry place, and sometimes you need a digital rest stop. Chia made a fair amount of those, and i strongly suspect there will be more :)
